- Getting last minute instuctions from Sue Ellen
On Monday evening February 4th, Plythe Gibbons and daughter Taylor appeared on WPSL 1590 Radio Show hosted by Sue Ellen Sanders. The 6:00pm edition featured The Grace Way Village’s Hope’s Closet 4 Children and The Butterfly Kisses Father/Daughter Dance. Going Live on the show was Director of Hope’s Closet 4 Children, Linda Chastain, Barbara Lorenzo, a volunteer, and Taylor Gibbons, a teen volunteer who has spent many hours serving at Hope’s Closet 4 Children sorting clothes and helping clients. Also, appearing live with them was Pythe Gibbons, CEO of Treasures of Fort Pierce. She is a GWV Board member and is on the committee for this event. Those who could not make the show but are significant are Jill Todd , and Monique Bruhn of Loudon Pools who are the Co-Chairs.
This was a fantastic opportunity for Treasures of Fort Pierce to have a presence and although, the discussion centered around the non profit organization and it’s event, Plythe felt honored to be there and show her support for her community. Plythe stated “It’s always about getting the awareness out to the public to let them know what’s going on in Fort Pierce so that they can get involved. People look to me to find out what is happening in the area and to promote through the website and Facebook social marketing. This is just another venue for people to use as a resource. Treasures of Fort Pierce is here to enhance the awareness through these technological mediums of social communication. Treasures of Fort Pierce is like having a social magazine with interesting information and topics. I call it a Local Coastal Living Treasure Trove!”
